If you follow my blog with any regularity, you'll notice a new look and a new name tonight. Given my transportation focus in general and my more specific focus on Alexandria, Huntington, and the southeastern part of Fairfax County (along/east of Richmond Hwy), I decided to give a new name to the blog and do some layout revisions. I'm also adding labels to my blog posts for easier reference.
Thanks to Stephen Miller for the name idea...and thanks to Dan Reed for allowing me to steal the name concept...:o)
Adam's blog is now roaming the dirt roads of Vermont, chronicling transportation and travels one hill at a time...

Okay, I think I have my settings right for an RSS feed. Here's the URL. If it's not working, someone please let me know.

Curmudgeons...
No offense to the good folks at The District Curmudgeon. I know Geoff...he's a friend of mine. But if he's a curmudgeon, then I'm an outright Archie Bunker...

Way too long of a delay...
Feels weird being on here for the first time since Gustav. A lot's happened in the past six months...I transferred from Mississippi to the D.C. area...I'm trying to get a feel for the DC area and my new duty station (the Naval Ice Center), and I've seen Meaghan more times in the past 6 months than I did the whole time down in Mississippi.
But I think I'll start posting here on the blog more often. I'll also start using the blog to announce website updates, so stay tuned.
